How do I choose the correct grease?

Selection depends on bearing or component type, speed, load, operating temperature, water exposure, relubrication interval and compatibility with the grease already in service. Base oil, thickener and performance additives matter; mixing incompatible greases can reduce performance. Follow the equipment and lubricant manufacturer’s current recommendations.
