VersaChem® Mega Grey™ Silicone is a moisture-curing RTV gasket maker engineered for high rigidity, high vibration, and high-performance sealing. It cures into a strong, durable silicone rubber that forms long-lasting, flexible, formed-in-place gaskets — resisting aging, weathering, hardening, shrinking, and cracking over time. It’s also non-corrosive to steel, iron, and aluminum, making it a dependable choice for metal components under constant stress.

Application Instructions
- Clean and dry all mating surfaces thoroughly.
- Cut the nozzle and apply a continuous 1/16″ to 1/4″ (2–6 mm) bead of silicone to one surface, surrounding all bolt holes.
- Assemble components immediately while the silicone is still wet. Hand-tighten fasteners until sealant begins to squeeze out around the flange.
- Let sit for one hour before tightening to torque specifications.
- Allow 24 hours for a complete cure before filling with fluids or returning the assembly to service.
- Replace the cap securely after use.
Note: Not recommended for use on cylinder head gaskets or components in direct contact with gasoline.
