Industrial pastes are used during assembly and maintenance to support controlled fitting, reduce friction or help prevent seizure on threaded and mating surfaces. The correct product depends on the materials, load, temperature and service environment.

How do I choose an assembly paste?

Check the metals or other substrates, operating and installation temperatures, load, speed, exposure to water or chemicals and required disassembly conditions. For threaded fasteners, lubrication can affect tightening torque; follow the equipment and product manufacturer’s guidance.
