Tectyl® 800-D BF is a water-displacing, low-viscosity, lubricating corrosion preventive oil that is completely barium-free. It leaves a light, transparent, oily film. It is recommended for protecting and lubricating small arms and automatic weapons, industrial equipment, tools, pneumatic controls and light-duty machinery and motors in moist, cold conditions. It also serves as a light-gauge wire preservative and tube coating for undercover shipment and storage.

Surface Preparation
For best results, the metal surface should be clean, dry and free from rust, oil and mill scale. The substrate temperature should be between 10°C and 35°C when you apply the product.
Application
Supplied ready to use. Do not thin.
Apply at 10-35°C by low-pressure air spray, line lubricators or dipping.
Removal
Wet or dry: Remove with Tectyl® Biocleaner or Tectyl® 150.
Storage & Shelf Life
Store between 10°C and 35°C.
Do not allow the product to freeze.
Agitate gently before use; viscosity can change during storage.
When stored correctly, the product is best used within 36 months of the production date.
Coating Compatibility
Nothing can be applied over Tectyl® 800-D BF, and the use of a primer is not recommended. Where the TDS requires written authorization from CorPro for a primer, obtain that authorization before use; distributor advice does not replace it.
