Tectyl® Cavity Wax Non Solvent is a resin/oil-based corrosion preventive aerosol for internal vehicle doors and other hollow sections. It penetrates folds, flanges and cracks and forms a light yellow, translucent, semi-soft film. Its low-odour formulation still requires the ventilation and handling precautions specified in the aerosol SDS and label.

Surface Preparation
For best results, the metal surface should be clean, dry and free from rust, oil and mill scale. The substrate temperature should be between 10°C and 35°C when you apply the product.
Application
Shake the can well before use.
For best results, spray when the can and the air are between 10°C and 25°C.
Spray from a distance of about 30 cm onto clean, dry metal.
The product dries fast. To avoid pin-holing, apply one layer per pass, wait 2-3 minutes, then apply the next layer until the required film thickness is reached.
Use an extension probe with a 360° nozzle to reach the full length of the cavity. Keep drain holes open.
Removal
While still wet: Remove with Tectyl® Biocleaner, Tectyl® 150 or low-pressure steam.
After drying and curing: Remove with Tectyl® 150 or Tectyl® Biocleaner.
Storage & Shelf Life
Store between 10°C and 35°C.
Do not allow the can to freeze.
Shake well before use.
When stored correctly, the product is best used within 36 months of the production date.
Coating Compatibility
Nothing can be applied over Tectyl® Cavity Wax Non Solvent, and products underneath are not recommended because of possible chemical incompatibility.
