Tectyl® 300G Black E is a waterborne corrosion preventive coating for ferrous and non-ferrous fabrications and industrial components. It forms a hard, flexible black film and may be overcoated after a small-area compatibility test with the proposed topcoat system.

Surface Preparation
For best results, the metal surface should be clean, dry and free from rust, oil and mill scale. The substrate temperature should be between 10°C and 35°C when you apply the product.
Application
Tectyl® 300G Black E is supplied ready to use. Do not thin it.
Ensure uniform consistency before use; continued stirring is generally not required.
If the product thickens through cold storage or loss of water and coalescent, contact our technical team.
Apply by airless spray or dipping at 10-35°C.
Removal
While still wet: Remove with water or Tectyl® Biocleaner.
After drying and curing: The coating is not intended for removal; if necessary it can be removed with ethyl acetate.
Storage & Shelf Life
Store between 10°C and 35°C.
Do not allow the product to freeze.
Protect containers from direct sunlight and heat.
When stored correctly, the product is best used within 9 months of the production date.
Coating Compatibility
Tectyl® 300G Black E is overcoatable. Test the topcoat on a small area first to confirm compatibility.
