Tectyl 506
A wax-based corrosion preventive that forms a firm amber film for machinery, parts storage and shipment.
Tectyl 846-K-19
A corrosion preventive for suitable metal-preservation applications. Confirm the required specification revision and supporting documents before approval or substitution.
Tectyl 511-M
A water-displacing, oil-based preservative for compatible ferrous and non-ferrous parts during covered shipment and indoor storage. Manufacturer documentation states MIL-PRF-16173E Grade 5, Class 1 performance requirements.
Tectyl 502-C
A soft-wax preservative for indoor or covered storage and shipment. Certain gearbox applications may permit the film to remain, subject to equipment and lubricant compatibility.
Tectyl 930
An SAE 30 preservation and lubricating oil for compatible internal-combustion engines. It is not a general-purpose external protective coating.

Provide the valve materials, seal details, future service medium and equipment-manufacturer instructions. Suitability for an external surface does not establish compatibility with internal wetted parts or special services such as oxygen and potable water.
